I am Mai. I belong to the art club at school.
Last month, our club visited a museum in the city.

There were many beautiful paintings there. (そこにはたくさんの美しい絵がありました) - be interested in ～ ～に興味がある
I was especially interested in one picture. (私は特に、一枚の絵に興味があった) - tell 人 that ～ 人に～だと伝える (～は主語・動詞の文章)
- 接続詞「when」 when 主語 + 動詞 = 主語が～するとき / ～したとき
the artist painted it when he was very young. (彼がとても若かったとき、その画家はそれを描きました) - be to to不定詞（名詞用法）= ～すること
My dream is to become an artist in the future. (私の夢は将来芸術家になることです)
