One evening, when my mother and I were cooking dinner, the lights suddenly went out.
For a few seconds, the kitchen was completely dark.
My mother said, “Don’t worry. There should be a candle in the drawer.”
I opened it and found one quickly.
While my mother was lighting the candle, I looked out of the window.
