At the edge of a vast desert, a group of travelers paused, uncertain whether they should continue forward or return to where they had come from.
The landscape, which stretched endlessly before them, offered no clear sign of direction, and the silence seemed to emphasize the difficulty of their choice.
Some of them insisted that they should move ahead, believing that progress, even without certainty, was better than hesitation.
Others, however, argued that turning back might be the wiser decision, since the risk of losing their way was too great to ignore.
Having faced similar situations in the past, the leader tried to arrange a plan that would allow them to proceed with caution.
If they were to move forward without preparation, they could easily be caught in conditions that would threaten their survival.
