- 現在進行形は be動詞と一般動詞にing、で作る。
I am playing baseball.

～している、と訳す。be動詞は主語によって変える。「write」などの特定の一般動詞は形を変えてingをつける。 - 文章を過去形にしたい場合、動詞だけ形を変える。

基本的には「ed」をつける。 - 不規則に変化する動詞もある。
